The show contains straight-forward, conversational style dialogue in addition to the wonderful songs. The basic story outline is that five strangers get stuck in an elevator in a New York skyscraper. Two angels come to their rescue and transport them to Central Park. The angels assist the five in understanding their purpose in life and how to live out their faith to the fullest.
There are two versions of the script available, with only the ending varying from one another. Version 1 has an ending that is more dramatic and serious. Version 2 has a happier ending. You may choose which version works better for your intended audience. The two scripts change starting on Page 59 of each, so you may wish to read the entire script of Version 1, and then just read Pages 59 to the end of Version 2.
